CCS Joins Medical Group Management Association (MGMA)

Story by Connor Danielowski / July 13, 2022

Charleston, South Carolina, June 2, 2022. Chronic Care Staffing (CCS), a Charleston SC-based outsourced virtual healthcare management provider, announces its membership in the Medical Group Management Association trade group (MGMA).

MGMA is the nation’s largest association focused on the business of medical practice management. The organization is made up of 15,000 group medical practices across the country representing over 350,000 physicians. MGMA helps its members innovate and improve profitability and financial sustainability, and it provides the gold standard on industry benchmarks such as physician compensation. The association also advocates extensively on its members’ behalf on national regulatory and policy issues.

CCS, which serves clients ranging from small medical practices to large health systems across the United States, aims to leverage MGMA’s strengths in information gathering and analysis, as well as its extensive network of healthcare professionals.

CCS and MGMA: Investing in Improved Client Services

For Chronic Care Staffing Founder and CEO Cas Danielowski, this new relationship is a natural fit. “CCS and MGMA share common goals of driving practice innovation, profitability, and financial sustainability. In addition to outstanding day-to-day benefits MGMA provides, such as benchmarking and data sharing, their advocacy and resources give us a seat at the table in terms of healthcare regulatory and policy issues. MGMA membership truly is an investment that will result in improved services for our clients.”
