Celebrating Leadership, Growth, and a Decade of Impact: Highlights from the CCS Team Leader Retreat

Story by Connor Danielowski / June 17, 2025

Earlier this month, Chronic Care Staffing (CCS) hosted its second Team Leader Retreat in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina, bringing together more than 40 leaders from across the country for two days of connection, strategy, and celebration.

This year’s retreat was especially meaningful as it marked CCS’s 10-year anniversary—a decade of delivering high-quality clinical staffing solutions and pioneering innovative healthcare delivery models across the U.S. Having the opportunity to celebrate this milestone alongside our dedicated leadership team made the event all the more special.

Strategy, Vision, and Clinical Excellence

The retreat focused on aligning our leaders around CCS’s core clinical values and future goals. Through a series of interactive sessions, we explored:

  • Clinical Best Practices
  • CCS Clinical Delivery Models
  • Leadership Vision and Growth Plans
  • CMS Program Directives and Regulatory Updates

With the support of two insightful Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), our team engaged in thoughtful discussions around what’s next for CCS and how we can continue to raise the standard in every market we serve.

Q&A, Collaboration, and Clinical Jeopardy

To close out the working sessions, we hosted an open Q&A panel, where team members could ask questions and share ideas directly with company leadership. But the retreat wasn’t all business—we ended the day with a lighthearted and competitive Clinical Jeopardy tournament, sparking laughs, bonding, and plenty of friendly rivalry.

A Night to Remember: Dinner Cruise on Charleston Harbor

On the final night, the CCS team enjoyed a sunset dinner cruise around the Charleston Harbor, offering breathtaking views of the Ravenel Bridge and the historic skyline. The cruise was more than just a scenic backdrop—it was a chance for colleagues to relax, reflect, and celebrate ten years of shared success and collaboration.

Looking Ahead

As CCS continues to grow and evolve, events like the Team Leader Retreat are a reminder of what sets us apart—a united team, a clear vision, and a deep commitment to clinical excellence. We’re proud of the culture we’ve built and even more excited about what lies ahead.
